I’ve realized I really like to watch American TV legal/detective dramas. I remember it’s since Ally McBeal (back to the 90s). Somewhat casual, light but best-laid scripts, logics to solve the riddles, and the best thing of all, it’s very nice to learn English conversations (watching them with Japanese subtitles). And yes, 1 episode finishes in 45 mins. I don’t know but perhaps it’s not much related to the fact that I majored in law at univ. I watched all the J-subtitled series of BULL, Elementary, and now I’m hooked on watching the 3rd season of The Good Wife (I know it’s old!).
These are my fav words learnt from such dramas; Your Honor, Objection, Sustained, Overruled, Humiliated, Mean man…😝
