go green’s 3 tracks are used for a short film “Lovelost”, directed by Miwa Ono.

This film received “Award of Merit” on 2 film festivals held in Jakarta, June 2015.

I visited Jakarta for the first time to attend the awards ceremony and international filmmakers conference. It was my great honor to be there and I enjoyed the amazing experiences.

 

Here is the list of the 3 tracks.

1. Plum Baby
2. Maboroshi no Yukue
3. Bokuga Kowareteku Sunzen No Youni (English title: Breakdown)

All tracks are written in Japanese. #3 is new song which is going to be released on Monday, July 20th. Check out the upcoming information!! 🙂

「誰か、僕を抱きしめてくれないか？」（英題：Lovelost）で使われている3曲とは…、

 

まず、go green初期時代からのキラーチューンでおなじみ「Plum Baby」

それから、2ndアルバムFloating on the Edgeに収録されている「幻の行方」

最後に、go green未発表の新曲、「僕が壊れてく寸前のように」

です。

「僕が壊れてく寸前のように」は、go greenのKenjiが1990年代初期にやっていたバンド「ラヴ・カメレオンズ」時代の曲で、この映画のモチーフとなるべく、アレンジも新たに再レコーディングされたもので、正確に言うと、go green版セルフカバー・バージョンといったところです。セルフカバーって言葉は、実は和製英語だそうですけど。

 

そして最後にニュースです。

この新曲、「僕が壊れてく寸前のように」のシングルリリースが、来月7月20日に決定しました。

最近ジャカルタの妙な写真がアップされているけど、なんだこれ？ と思っていたあなたへ。

そもそもなぜgo greenがジャカルタへ行ってきたのか、その訳をきちんと説明してしていなかったですね。バタバタですみません(^_^;)

 

実は、驚異の新進気鋭(=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ、小野美和監督のショートムービー、「誰か、僕を抱きしめてくれないか？」（英題：Lovelost）が、ジャカルタで開催されたインターナショナル・フィルム・フェスティバル2015にて、Story部門、Newcomer部門の2つで、優秀賞をいきなりダブル受賞したのです！！

そしてなっ、なんと！この作品の中で、go greenの曲が、3曲も使われているのでございます！

そこで、その授賞式、及び関連のフィルムカンファレンスに、小野美和監督、制作の畑美保さんと共に乗り込んできた、という訳です。

今回、曲が受賞した訳ではないものの、授賞式に世界中から集まるフィルムメイカーの皆さんに、go greenの音楽を知ってもらうには、またと無いチャンスだったのです。

 

そして、3曲のショートミックスが入ったCD-Rを50枚、Floating on the EdgeのCDアルバム15枚を手渡しで配る、というミッションを、見事コンプリートして来たのでした(^-^)/

International Filmmakers Conference & Festivals In Jakarta

ジャカルタで開催されている国際フィルムメイカーズフェスティバルで、大臣主催のセレモニーで表彰して頂いたり、go greenのサンプルCDを配りまくったり、女子学生に写真一緒に撮って下さい♡と言われたりしています。いやマジで。光栄でふ。

At the international filmmakers conference & festivals in Jakarta, we received prize at minister inaugurated ceremony, handed out go green’s sample CD to many people, being asked for taking pictures with young students! I’m very honored to be here.

Austinの旅行記がまだまだ途中なのですが、実は今、go greenは、とあるミッションのためインドネシアの首都、ジャカルタに来ています。

Cars, cars, cars and bikes, bikes, bikes. It’s too risky for morning walk around the hotel, isn’t it? And it also shows the boundless power of this city.
