Last night at Shibuya GABIGABI. It was surrounded by cozy, good and warm atmosphere. I played 3 songs, one of them was cover of Irish traditional music band “Solas” performed with the event organizer/singer Kimie and accordion player Sahya who actually has perfect pitch. It was very fun night. Thanks✨

 

昨夜は渋谷GABIGABIでした。Kimieさんの誕生月イベント。去年の12月、このイベントに参加させてもらったことがきっかけで、渋谷GABIGABIに出演するようになりました。くつろいだ、暖かい、いい雰囲気に包まれていました。プレイした3曲のうち、1曲がアメリカのアイリッシュトラッドミュージックバンドSolasのカバーで、ヴォーカルのKimieさんと絶対音感を持つアコーディオンプレーヤーのSahyaさんとのコラボでした。楽しい夜、ありがとうございました✨

昔、go greenのライブを見た人なら知っている、ひとりバンドの手法。

このバーでも使えるかどうか試してみました。

結果は…🙆‍♂️👏

これからは渋谷ガビガビでも使って行きたいと思います。

ギター1本の弾き語りとは違うスタイルです。

昨日も来てくれたお客さんに感謝🙏✨

I tried the way to play live as “solo band” that is known by people who watched go green before.

So I’ll use it at the bar Shibuya GABIGABI.

It’s different from simple voice and guitar style.

イアン・ミッチェルが亡くなったということで、中学生の頃聴いて影響受けまくったこの曲が急にやりたくなり、急遽音を拾って昨日の1曲目にやりました（邦題：二人のパラダイス）。

ベイ・シティ・ローラーズより、ロゼッタ・ストーンの方が好きでした。

これは元々60年代のAmen Corner (エイメン・コーナー)ってバンドのカバーだそうで。

そう言えば「サンシャイン・オブ・ユア・ラブ」も、ロゼッタ・ストーンのカバー版を先に聴いてて、後からクリーム(エリック・クラプトンの)の曲だったって知ったのでした。

もちろんイアンはBCRありきでしたけどね。R.I.P.🙏
