大雨の被害に遭われた方々にお見舞い申し上げます。何年か前にアップしたビートルズの「Because」go greenカバー版を逆回転したバージョンを作りました。ヨーコがピアノで弾くベートーヴェンのMoonlight Sonata（月光）を聴いていたジョン・レノンが、思いつきで譜面を逆向きにしてコードを弾いてもらい、それを元にBecauseができたっていうエピソードがありますが、そのまま逆回転にしても月光には聞こえません。しかし、歌詞が潰れることもあって、何やら神秘的な、荘厳さをたたえた響きがあるのです。

Just uploaded reverse version of The Beatles’ “Because” covered by go green. There is an episode about how this song was born. According to Wikipedia, John Lennon said, ”Yoko was playing Beethoven’s ‘Moonlight Sonata’ on the piano … I said, ‘Can you play those chords backwards?’, and wrote ‘Because’ around them.” This backward track cannot be heard as Moonlight Sonata, but lyrics are broken and that made this track somewhat mysterious, and even sublime.
